Description Walking Tour Rome
On this tour, you will take a trip to Ancient Rome by visiting the Colosseum, the Roman Forum, and Palatine Hill. The 2/3-hour guided tour will start from Via Cavour, and then descend towards the Oppian Hill from where you can admire a magnificent view of the Eternal City. We’ll head to the Colosseum, where you can enter without unnecessary waiting thanks to your skip-the-line ticket. You will be fascinated by the majesty of this monument even before entering and you will be catapulted into a world that is now far away but still so fascinating today. The guide’s stories will bring to life the bloody stories of gladiators, the spectacular naval battles, but also the public executions. After a short stop at the Arch of Constantine we will continue towards the Palatine Hill with the splendid view of the Roman Forum and the Circus of Nero, once the scene of chariot races. We’ll walk along the Via Sacra, once the main artery that led to the Roman Forum and where numerous celebrations and processions were hosted. Our tour will end with a visit to the Temple of Caesar where the remains of the famous emperor are kept.
